Damien Priestman recently joined Michael Garcia, P.A. as an Associate Attorney, bringing a unique blend of international legal experience, business acumen, and dispute resolution expertise to the firm. While new to the team, Damien’s extensive professional background allows him to provide clients with practical, strategic legal solutions grounded in both legal and business realities.

At Michael Garcia, P.A., Damien assists clients with construction law matters, construction liens, contract disputes, commercial litigation, collections, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. He is committed to helping contractors, property owners, businesses, and individuals protect their interests and resolve legal challenges efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining the firm, Damien spent nearly a decade with the Russian office of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Moscow, supporting complex international arbitration proceedings involving multinational businesses and cross-border disputes. His work included legal research, contract drafting and negotiation, case administration, arbitrator selection, and collaboration with legal professionals and corporate stakeholders around the world.

Damien also served as Secretary of the ICC Russia Commission on International Arbitration, where he worked alongside leading attorneys, business leaders, and international organizations to advance arbitration and dispute resolution initiatives. Throughout his career, he has contributed to programs involving international commerce, intellectual property protection, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.

His professional experience extends beyond traditional legal practice and includes business management, operational oversight, contract administration, and regulatory compliance. This diverse background provides Damien with a practical understanding of the legal and commercial challenges faced by businesses and entrepreneurs.
